According to reports, voters in Benue state who were unhappy with the election results in the state set ablaze the independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, office in Logo Local Government Area on Sunday night.

INEC Public Relations Officer in the state, Louis Ochai told Vanguard that: “By tomorrow we should be able to get the full details of the unfortunate development, but for now the matter is being handled as a security issue; it is however regrettable. We just pray that our sensitive materials were not destroyed in the inferno,”
