Microsoft has announced the impeding death of Internet Explorer, ‘Project Spartan’ will replace the browser as the main browser with Windows 10.

IE was once the king of the browsers, but has spent recent years in the doldrums, overlooked and ignored by user opting for the slick Chrome or Firefox.

Whatever its eventual fate, IE is certain to remain in the hearts of many internet users who remember the days when you couldn’t use the phone and be online at the same time.

Many people struggled to come to terms with the news:
