Arsenal: Fast and Furious
One, two, three and a fab goal. That was the order of business at the Emirates. They (Arsenal) were too fast and incomprehensible for West Ham. Ramsey and Ozil were all over the place.
P.S: You should see Giroud’s goal if you haven’t.
Manchester City: Mediocre, Below par
They allowed their opponents to dictate the tempo of their game and failed to take advantage of the way the opposition came at them and left themselves open at the back. Silva and Clichy were pocketed by Boyd. Yaya Toure misplaced so many passes, Aguero and Dzeko couldn’t function. Navas? Let’s not start…
Chelsea: Hazardous but Unharmful
With 61% of the ball possession, 22 attempts on goal (7 on target), the Blues could only put one past Southampton’s goalie and man-of-the-match Forster. Fabregas got switched off, Diego was more interested in arguments than in increasing his one goal tally in the game. Only Eden Hazard made the Saints sweat. His drive-ins and dribbles caused headaches for the opposition but one player most times can’t make the difference in games.
Matchless Manchester United
They put three past their opponents in the opening 45 of the game. Tottenham played them like they were afraid of them. Fellaini got a goal, Mata had a great game and Rooney KO’d Hugo Lloris.
Lucky Liverpool
After a goalless first half and the keeping of the Swans at bay, Liverpool needed a wicked deflection to bag all three points against Swansea.
