Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola has blamed President Goodluck Jonathan for the robbery attack which occured at Lekki-Ikoyi bridge which claimed the lives of 3 Police officers and other civilians.
The robbery which occured yesterday 12th of March saw a fierce gun battle between the men of the Nigerian Police and the Armed robbers who came to rob a branch of the First City Monument Bank, Lekki Branch.
Fashola made the accusation on Thursday night at the Intercontinental Hotel, Lagos, during the All Progressives Congress event, tagged: ‘An Evening For Nigeria’.
During the event, the governor said: “.Because Jonathan was coming to Lagos, all the vehicles and police in Lagos were sent to be on standby for him, and there was none available to stop the robbery at Ikoyi-Lekki link bridge,” he said.
