The war against Boko-Haram has never been more intense than at any point in time, but despite several victories recorded against the insurgency in the last couple of days, Cameroon has lost one of it’s finest military officers.
Mbene Matute lost his life on Wednesday, Feb. 25th when the vehicle conveying him and a fellow soldier hit a landmine on Mora-Limani road in Cameroon. Mbene was the most senior officer in the Cameroonian army until his death.
