WRITTEN BY 'BAMIYO FATILEWA

 This is what I think
Can somebody tell me what I don’t know
Because I feel new things now beginning
New thoughts now arising
New feelings now the ease of life, so…

I thought truth could pave way to the tops
But was told it makes one a flop
Now I know little I don’t know…
I block my ears for I don’t want to hear what they say
Because I want to hear myself speak…
I thought they said money quiets the nerves
But I was told money makes the world go round
I thought riches was how you acquire it
But was told it is how you spend it
I say this because I hate money
But it’s the lack of money I hate most
Can you now share the irony of what I don’t know?

This is what I think
Can somebody tell me what I don’t know
Because I feel new things now beginning
New thoughts now arising
New feelings now the ease of life, so…

I chose brain as the way
But a girl chooses beauty than brains
Because she knows a man sees well than he thinks
Now I know little I don’t know…
And now I will go to the school of modern life
Because what goes on now has shifted away from what was in town
I realize time is a storm in which we are all lost
Somebody bring me out by telling me what I don’t know
Tell me please…

This is what I think
Can somebody tell me what I don’t know
Because I feel new things now beginning
New thoughts now arising
New feelings now the ease of life, so…
