The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Gen. Muhammadu Buhari , on Wednesday said he won’t probe past leaders of the country if he emerges winner in the forth coming presidential election slated for March 28.
Buhari, who stated this at the permanent site of the Kaduna International Trade and Investments Centre along Zaria road, during the APC Northwest rally in Kaduna State, promised to allow judicial process run its full course in all cases relating to corruption in the country.
It would be recalled that the venue of the rally was changed at the last minute because the Kaduna state government denied the APC access to state-owned Murtala Square stating security reasons as its excuse.
Gen. Buhari, however stated that if he is elected president, anyone who embezzles a single kobo from the country’s treasury, will not only be made to refund it, but also face the consequencies as from May 29, 2015.
The rally which attracted a large crowd, created a heavy traffic along the busy Kaduna/Kano highway as even the candidate struggled through the heavy traffic to get to the venue.
