President Goodluck Jonathan, yesterday did a media chat which was aimed at clearing the air and relieving the tension of Nigerians as to the postponement of elections and also clear the air on some allegations which were levelled against him.
The President during the chat revealed that he is ready to hand over power to anyone who wins if he gets elected out of office come march 28th.
According to Punch, Jonathan spoke about the alleged plot to sack the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Attahiru Jega, insurgency and corruption.
Before and after the polls were shifted from February 14 and 28 to March 28 and April 11, there were rumours that the President and the Peoples Democratic Party were nursing a sinister plot not to hand over power.
