Fashola Declares Public Holiday in Lagos

Fashola1 For Lagosians, the week just ended early as the Lagos State Government has declared this Friday, 6th Feb a work free day for workers to be able to pick up their permanent voters card.


The elections which will begin in a week’s time with the presidential elections spurred the decision to create a free day for potential voters to collect their PVCs. Lagos State made the announcement on their Facebook page. Governor Fashola also petitioned employers of the private sector to release their employees early as well.
