According to a report on Billboard, One Direction are the top act based on a countdown from ticket seller Stubhub.
The result was calculated from overall sales figures for the group’s tours in the past 12 months.
They had their first ever stadium tour in 2014 titled Where We Are, which had them performing to crowds of about 80,000 at some shows.
Second on the list is country superstar George Strait as a result of his final farewell tour, which attracted 105,000 people in the final show alone in Arlington, Texas.
In third and fourth place were Luke Bryan and Justin Timberlake. Rounding out the top five was Beyonce and Jay Z’s On The Run tour.
