APC Governorship Aspirant Ticket won by Akinwunmi Ambode

Akinwunmi Ambode has won the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The APC primary election for governorship aspirants was held today, December 4, 2014. The event had about 3000 APC delegates in attendance.

The former Accountant General of Lagos had to go head to head with other aspirants such as Dr Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat, who reportedly had the support of Governor Babatunde Fashola and the Former Attorney-General of the state, Olasupo Shasore among others.

Ambode is set to represent the APC at the 2015 Lagos governorship elections.
