Amosun’s Deputy Declares for Governorship on SDP Platform; Flees APC

The Ogun State deputy governor is not in good terms with the Governor of Ogun State,Ibikunle Amosun . His Deputy, Segun Adesegun seems to have escalated.

Segun claims to be maltreated on several levels by the present administration which had one time forced him to write an open letter to the governor.

Segun has defected to the Social Democratic Party [SDP]. He’s in the race to contest in the 2015 elections and he will be contesting for the governorship seat in Ogun state.

He was fast to say he has not yet been chosen as the standard bearer of SDP. If chosen by SDP as its Gubernatorial candidate, he will unseat Amosun.
