Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge attended her first engagement today since confirming the news she’s expecting her second child and the three month pregant royal, showed off the tinniest baby bump under her Alexander McQueen grey coat dress today during the official state welcome for the visiting President of Singapore.
The royal hasn’t been seen in weeks, due to her severe morning sickness condition, but it looks like she’s on the mend and seemed in good spirits at the ceremonial engagement, alongside Prince William, on Horse Guards Parade in London today.
We were, of course, keeping our eyes open for any hint of a baby bump and while she’s only three months pregnant, we did spy a little bump under Kate’s coat.
While pregnant with Prince George, Kate was praised for her stylish maternity wardrobe and it looks like the second time round she’s going to be just as elegant. The short coat had a high waistline meaning it’s flattering on a pregnant figure, with the bump slightly more visible when she clasped her hands infront of her.
Kate’s return to the spotlight comes a day after the royal couple confirmed they’re expecting their second child in April 2015. In a statement from the palace, they revealed the due month and also referred to the new arrival as “baby”, the singular, meaning any rumours of twins and triplets have surely been ended.
