The Blues boss – who took out singer Olly Murs during a Soccer Aid charity match at United’s ground in June – joked that he would do the same to his former player if the Argentine tried to dribble past the technical area.
Speaking about tripping up Murs, Mourinho said: ‘Did you see the tackle I made? If I could do the same on Sunday, I would.
‘And it’s the same referee. If I see Di Maria in front of me dribbling, BOOM!’
