After some celebs including Nollywood film-maker Charles Novia, yvonne nelson, and likes condemned the Nigerian celebrities for participating in the ALS ice water challenge that is currently trending, Tonto Dike has also joined them. She said we are Africans not Americans.
The Nollywood screen diva Tonto Dikeh has therefore started what she calls the “Wash Your Hands Challenge”. She started this to further raise awareness of the Ebola virus.
In her words “We Africans always want to blend with the western trend forgetting the fact we have our own to think care about!! Most of you all involving in the ALS ice water challenge don’t even know what ALS Stand for yet you want to do it because is trending, just like you did when Our girls was kidnapped, everyday it was all about #bringbackourgirls, is been months, days our girls are still yet to be seen but No one is saying nothing about it!!
